For over fifteen years, Justin M Robinson has been involved with the Northeast Texas Poetry in Schools awards contest that takes place each April, National Poetry Month. This annual awards contest judges student poetry submissions from over 35 school districts and 75 classrooms. Robinson has been Creative Director of Northeast Texas Poetry in Schools since 2021.
